In personal-piggy-news my That Oktober Kit is finally in the
store, to celebrate my ability to create something new I've put the
whole store on sale for 30% till the end of the month. I didn't
quite get so creative as to do a little ad, but I hope you
will enjoy the kit! I, myself, am in love with my own gnomes
LOL.
But even more exciting, my darling daughter aced the
end-of-first-grade test! In German!!! It hasn't even been
two weeks and she passed! She passed! She passed with flying
colors! I was completely shocked that she passed the spelling
test, she missed two, true, but only one letter on each of those
two. Absolutely amazing. Her teachers, here father, all of
us are amazed at how quickly she is picking this up. And all of
us are in awe, almost quiet with wonder, at how well her classmates
have adapted to having Tess in their midst. During group
activities they instinctively assign her the tasks they know she can
handle, and turn to her for help and "fresh" eyes. It
is something better witnessed than described, just know it is a thing
of beauty. I am so proud of my little girl.
